BrightWave Shines at 2017 AIMA Awards >

On March 16, BrightWave continued to demonstrate its prowess in the Atlanta community as well as the email channel at the annual AIMA awards, an event designed to showcase Atlanta’s top digital marketing talent and work. Through the course of the evening, the agency received many accolades courtesy of the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association, including a “Made in the ATL” recognition and several Rising Star Marketer awards.

The BrightWave highlights include Best in Show winners and 2017 finalists for the following categories:

Made in the ATL Marketing

A-Town down. Our email work for fellow Atlanta company Chick-fil-A secured us a spot as a Best in Show ATL standout.

Best Email Campaign

A brand-focused email redesign for client Mizuno won us some AIMA favor for this category.

Rising Star

Laura Sutton Middleton was awarded the Best in Show Rising Star title for her work as our senior director of client solutions. AIMA described Middleton as “an incredible change agent that inspires teams focused on client delivery…now [driving] much of the action at one of the most important companies in the email industry and Atlanta ecosystem.”

Other BrightWave Rising Star recognitions included Kristen Lindell who was called out as someone who “made a substantial impact and shined as a key agency team member…leading the company to record new business numbers and agency revenue heights” and Kelsey Tillman who was noted for having “one of the best work ethics…hungry to make a difference for her clients.”

Interactive Marketer of the Year

In addition to the category wins above, our President Raj Choudhury and Creative Director Laura Sullivan were each up for recognition as Interactive Marketers of the Year. AIMA cited Choudhury as “one of the top Atlanta digital talents for the past decade” and reported that Laura Sullivan has “become the most important creative thinker in the email industry.”

We couldn’t be prouder of our performance at this year’s Celebrate ATL AIMA showcase and all the team members (very deservingly) honored that night. With a few more accolades under our proverbial belt, we’re excited to continue to play a leadership role as an Atlanta agency and, within our agency, as highly motivated individuals. Cheers to the BrightWave winners and all AIMA winners out there repping our city’s skills!
