When kick-butt strategy, modern creativity, and flawless teamwork all come together for an amazing end of year campaign, we are proud of our team. When all these elements combine to boost us into award-winning status, “beaming” doesn’t begin to cover it.
For over two decades, the Communicator Awards, sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, has been recognizing innovative ideas and projects in marketing and communications. This year, BrightWave won the Communicator Award for email marketing for our Chick-fil-A One™ “Year In Review” campaign and we couldn’t be prouder of our team. Chick-fil-A One, if you aren’t a member already, is an app that allows users to scan and mobile order their way to free treats. Our team developed a strategy that helped keep Chick-fil-A One users interacting and drive adoption of new features.
As 2016 came to a close, we had a feeling that an infographic-style stats email could be an easy win for our client. Annual statistic round-ups tend to make for some naturally intriguing content and everyone loves to celebrate a milestone. Following the success of their app launch, we also knew it was prime time for Chick-fil-A to deploy a message that thanked its users for joining Chick-fil-A One in its debut year.
The email we designed used fun, interesting stats in an easy-to-understand infographic that had 83% of openers reading for eight seconds or more (an eternity in inbox time)! What’s more fun than imagining 3 swimming pools filled with Chick-fil-A pickles? Maybe imagining enough lemons to fill up the streets of Manhattan.
