Hi, Sean! Tell us a little about yourself.

I’m a Boston native who is currently obsessed with my Australian Shepherd (Winston). I am an avid reader, golfer, and technology enthusiast with a passion for fixing and improving just about anything I can get my hands on.

What do you get excited about in the email world?

Email is such a crucial medium when it comes to how companies communicate with their customers/prospects, but that message is only communicated if someone is there to receive it. I really enjoy helping my customers improve their email data quality and deliverability, enabling them to hit as many inboxes as possible.

What part of an email is the most important to drive success?

Getting to the inbox, in today’s day and age getting in front of your audience is half the battle. With spam filters constantly evolving and opt-out lists/data privacy becoming more relevant it is now harder than ever to get in front of your audience.

What advice do you have for newcomers to the email industry?

The devil is in the details with email. Pay close attention to how your audience is engaging with your content to find new opportunities.

Who is a brand that you think does a great job with their email program? What do you like about their email program?

I really enjoy how Delta has personalized their email campaigns. They built out some really interactive campaigns over the last year that have made me consider traveling to places I otherwise never would have.

What do you think makes your company a great match with EiQ?

Validity BriteVerify plays a critical role in the email marketing ecosystem by helping our customers ensure they have a verified audience before they spend money and time reaching out to them.

From a career standpoint, how did you end up in email?

I am new to email! In my career, I’ve worked on many different software products and when Validity talked to me about BriteVerify and the email verification problem faced by companies today it was a no brainer to join the team.

What’s your favorite thing about Atlanta? If you haven’t been here before, what’s on your list to see and do?

Atlanta is a great city, I enjoy the food scene and really love watching the professional sports teams. I’m also very excited for the Southern hospitality, the people in Atlanta are always so friendly!
